MEET THE COLLECTIVE
CONAN MORNARD-STOTT
Conan is heading the Smallvids Collective and is its main point of contact. He is an extremely skilled and experienced editor with everything from prime-time TV shows and TVCs to Doco, Sport and promotional edits under his belt.
He puts his heart into all of the work he does and always delivers a fantastic edit. His sound design, mixing and colour work enables him to deliver a finished product, ready to be put out there into the world.
BEN CUSHMAN
Ben Cushman is a freelance creative based in Wellington specialising as an editor and colourist. Whatever the medium, he aims to use his skills to create narratives that resonate. He is among the trusted lead editors at one of Wellington's leading production companies, Wrestler, and regularly helps oversee high-profile projects from ingest to delivery. Over the last few years, he has worked across various projects from short films, web series, and documentaries, to performance marketing campaigns. He's lent his talents to brands and organisations such as Allbirds, Ecostore, Education New Zealand, New Zealand Rugby and New Zealand Police.
NADIA DARBY
Nadia Darby is a highly motivated and efficient editor. Her skills include organisational abilities, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to cut with creative instinct. Can complete tasks to a high standard, while maintaining a kind attitude. She has studied at both university and film school, with 4+ years of industry experience. Over the past couple of years she has worked as an editor for Warner Brothers and various contract jobs. She follows briefs with ease and can create videos that clients can be proud of.
CRAIG PARKES
Craig Parkes is an editor, colorist and post production supervisor with over 18 years experience in film and television post production. He has worked as a freelance VFX editor, assistant editor and post production supervisor on film and television series. He recently worked as an Online Editor and Colorist on the 2022 and 2023 documentary series Attitude and as the Online Editor of the reality tv series Down For Love (Season 2). He has edited videos for corporate brands such as Oceania, Pepsi, ASB Bank, Les Mills and many others as part of the team at Afterglow Films. He edits and colors in Resolve, as well as editing in Premiere Pro and Avid. He also has used After Effects for cleanup and beauty VFX work in his role as an online editor.
HANS WESTON
Hans Weston has 20 years in video production and filmmaking. He is a very experienced camera operator and editor with a background in network news tv. He has also worked for Weta Workshop in their media department covering behind the scenes and product videos. Hans has a strong focus on storytelling and making engaging content. He has a wide range of experience working with charities, businesses, documentaries, organisations and government agencies. He is easy going, adaptable and enjoys independence as much as collaborative projects.
ISAAC ENNOR
I’m Isaac, an Aotearoa based video editor with half a decade of industry experience. My clients have varied from large corporations to boutique local businesses, and I pride myself on delivering high quality, compelling videos no matter what the brief.
Beyond video editing, I am experienced in motion design, audio engineering and graphic design, and I draw from these skills often to elevate whatever project I am working on.
MICHAEL KENNA
Michael Kenna is a 27 year old freelance editor and filmmaker based in Wellington, New Zealand. He has 4 1⁄2 years of experience in the film industry and 3 years of editing experience.
Michael has worked as a freelance editor predominantly for Weta Workshop, working on a variety of video content ranging from behind the scenes, corporate content, live events, tutorials and montages.
